Creating abundant opportunity for Appalachian Ohio.
Appalachian Ohio faces a philanthropy gap that leaves our 32 counties with nearly nine times fewer philanthropic resources than the rest of the state. This gap in philanthropy is really a gap in opportunity, as teachers have fewer resources for classroom projects, students have less access to scholarships, and our community nonprofits have fewer investments in their missions through grant funding. That’s what our I’m a Child of Appalachia Fund was designed for – to address the philanthropy gap by investing in our most pressing needs and promising opportunities across all 32 counties. Now, with Cause Connector, you can invest in this work and a favorite local project at the same time.
