The Wellston Golden Rockets Marching Band has been selected to perform at the Walt Disney World Resort during their 50th Anniversary Celebration. The band plans to travel to Orlando, FL to participate in this once in lifetime opportunity April 27 – May 2, 2022. The band is hoping to take every marching band member that wants to participate, but due to the cost of the trip there are some students who are having trouble raising the required funds.

The cost of the trip is $1,558 per person including flights, hotels, every meal, park tickets, and other associated costs. To date, the Wellston Band Boosters have contributed over $26,000 towards the costs of the trip, but there are still some students in need of additional support. There are five students who are in desperate need of support to make the trip possible. 

These students deserve the opportunity to participate in the event and are working hard to make sure it happens.  Every dollar contributed will go towards the offsetting the cost of the trip for these students. 

A region abundant with possibility is the mission of FAO. Funding for this project would ensure that five students in Appalachian Ohio have equal access to an opportunity they have worked hard to achieve, regardless of their financial status.
