Samaritan Center Flooring

Project led by Samaritan Center

About the project.

Since 2008, 100s of people have gone through the Samaritan Center doors on their way topermanent housing. While the Center has diligently maintained the two houses it runs, time has taken itstoll on the flooring. The Center is in desperate need to replace flooring in many of the rooms in the houses.

The Center will use heavy duty laminate and vinyl flooring meant to stand up to heavy usage. With young children in the houses, it is important to maintain a safe, chip free, sanitary floor. It is also important tomake sure there are not trip hazards. This project can begin with partial funding.

FAO staff comments.

The Samaritan Center has helped hundreds of people on their way to finding permanent housing. This project would help the Center begin the badly needed process of repairing and replacing the floors, to ensure the Center can continue to serve the community for years to come.
