Monroe Arts Center Roof Replacement
Project led by Monroe Arts CouncilAbout the project.
Monroe Arts Center is home to the Monroe County Arts Council and its Creative Expressions Gift Shop and also serves as the Monroe Tourism bureau. The Center is a gathering place for all things arts, hosts various classes, performances and programs as well as supports nearly 50 local member artisans in the effort to place, promote and sell their goods. Art styles range from paintings, drawings, pottery and glassware, to fabric arts, jewelry, local authors and more. The historic facility with belltower is in need of a new roof. The plan is to replace it with a metal roof similar to the one the Council placed on the historic Buchanan Church facility.
