One sculpture, many originals. The goal of the LoveTusc: Tuscarawas County Sculpture Tour is to connect communities across Tuscarawas County through a collaborative sculpture series to encourage residents and visitors to experience Tuscarawas County’s cultural identity. While the sculpture is fabricated as the same design with Tuscarawas County’s shape and giant heart carved out of the middle, each sculptural piece will be painted by an artist with an original design that reflects the community it resides in. This project specially recognizes that while Tuscarawas County connects as home, it can also be celebrated through it’s unique communities. 

This project will impact multiple people from residents of Tuscarawas County to visitors. Funding will support the needed paints and materials for artists as they create their own original sculptures. 

This project encourages celebration of the unique communities that make up Tuscarawas County, while providing residents creative agency in telling their own story. LoveTusc: Tuscarawas County Sculpture Tour promotes art, community and economic development, and celebration of home – all essential to thriving Appalachian communities.
