Problem Based Learning Packets

Project led by Newcomerstown Exempted Village Schools

About the project.

This Cause Connector project supports virtual learning for students at Newcomerstown Exempted Village Schools.

The Newcomerstown School’s L.E.A.D. program enables students to learn through an inquiry-based approached. This program aims to provide students with educational packets that are filled with supplies and tools to keep them virtually engaged during remote learning. These packets would allow them to take part in safe, project-filled learning while staying in connected with their peers.

FAO staff comments.

L.E.A.D. learning focuses on reading and math intervention, as well as inquiry based project learning. COVID has meant that many families have been unable to access items to allow their children to participate while at home. Funding will provide materials and supplies for the students who need it most to continue to participate in L.E.A.D. learning virtually.
