3-D Printer for a Lawrence County Library

Project led by Briggs Lawrence County Public Library

About the project.

This Cause Connector project supports the purchase of a portable 3-D printer for the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library (BLCPL).

A high-quality 3-D printer, dedicated laptop, and accessories will be acquired for public use at BLCPL. This portable printer will be used for programming and learning for individuals of all ages. By purchasing a portable printer, the library will be able to showcase it at local schools, organizations, and events.

FAO staff comments.

Libraries democratize access to materials that would otherwise not be available to the general public. By installing a 3D printer in the Briggs Lawrence system, the library will be able to expand its programming to patrons of all ages and backgrounds while making a state-of-the-art piece of technology available to the community.
