Generating Power, Caring for our Community

Project led by Ohio Hills Health Services

About the project.

This Cause Connector project supports the affordable healthcare available through Ohio Hills Health Services through the purchase of back-up generators.

Ohio Hills Health Services provides accessible and affordable health, dental, and behavioral services to 5 locations. They are seeking to supply one of their locations, the Quaker City Family Health Center, with a back-up generator to remain open in case of power outages and natural disasters.

The Quaker City Family Center gives rural residents the health care they need and deserve. They can continue to do this with a back-up generator that ensures power for heat and cooling, medical equipment, lights, and refrigerators for their facilities.

FAO staff comments.

Rural health centers are a valuable lifeline for our communities. This project will ensure that the Quaker City Health Center can provide essential health services to its clients during pandemics, natural disasters, and everything in between.
