Cause Connector funding will allow the Eastern Middle and High School Band Program to purchase up to six different musical instruments for the instrumental band program. With the high costs of instruments, this would allow students to try different instruments to see which one they would be interested in playing prior to making the financial commitment in purchasing one.

Band programs provide many benefits to students including cognitive development, socialization skills, self-expression, and lowering stress. Band reinforces the skills of cooperation which are among the qualities now most highly valued in the business and tech industry.
