Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Coshocton County

Project led by United Way of Coshocton, Inc.

About the project.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library Free Book Program is a free book program where any child under the age of 5 living in Coshocton County can be sent a free book every month in the mail.

The program currently serves over 1,100 children — about half of eligible children in the community, according to the last census. With additional funding, the program will be able to connect additional Coshocton County children with free books.

Improving literacy in preschool children directly impacts and is an undeniable indicator of future academic success.
