Construction Trades Resiliency

Project led by Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio

About the project.

This Cause Connector project supports homebuilding by students and Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio.

Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio (HFHSEO) and Career Centers have partnered for the past four years to build homes from start to finish. These builds have provided many educational opportunities for students in technical schools.

Funds raised through this project will allow HFHSEO to provide proper personal protective equipment for students, Habitat staff, volunteers, and teachers to maintain a safe indoor environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

FAO staff comments.

This program combines the vital need of affordable housing with hands-on educational experience for students at career technical schools in the region.
