About the project.

Caring for Huskies was created as an umbrella project that encompasses Harrison Hills City School’s Blessings in a Backpack program. This program provides food for students that may be dealing with a lack of food in the home on weekends. It also provide shoes, coats, clothing, and hygiene products.

FAO staff comments.

Ensuring children have access to healthy food, personal items, and clean clothes is no small feat. The Caring for Huskies project ensures that no child in the Harrison Hills City School District goes without when there is a need, enabling children to focus on their education and development.
