Camp Beckoning Trails Archery Range

Project led by Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland

About the project.

The mission of Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland’s (GSOH) is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

Funds from this Cause Connector project will enable the purchase of archery and slingshot equipment and storage, certification of volunteers, and programming for Girl Scouts at Camp Beckoning Trails in Hocking County.

Camp Beckoning Trails is in Logan and includes 108 acres of hilly, forested land filled with streams, a pond, and a panoramic view of the Hocking River Valley and countryside. A new archery range would allow girls in Hocking County to not only take charge and get outdoors, it would additionally open an entirely new area of skill-building for Girl Scouts in the area. Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland is dedicated to supporting all girls who want to be Girl Scouts through our programs in collaboration with our community partners.

FAO staff comments.

Environmental access and education is more important now than ever before. A new and improved archery range at Camp Beckoning Trails would provide girl scouts in Hocking County the opportunity to try something new, while experiencing the magic of Appalachian Ohio’s natural wonders.
