Buckeye Trail HS Warriors Instruments and Uniforms

Project led by Buckeye Trail Band Boosters

About the project.

The Buckeye Trail Band Boosters raises funds for the Buckeye Trail High School Warriors music program, consisting of Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band.  The priority goal is to provide resources to enable band programming for students wishing to enjoy musical education and performances.  Ten years ago, the program was cut due to funding issues; five years later, the band program is back and flourishing, with increased student participation – which has brought more funding challenges. Although a successful fundraiser provided needed uniforms in recent years, the good challenges of continued growth has brought the need for additional uniforms and more instruments for the coming school year.

FAO staff comments.

Music education has had connection to improved performance in other subjects like math and science. However, we often see a lack of investment in arts and music programs in the region. This project will provide needed uniforms and instruments to help Buckeye Trail High School students continue to develop and enjoy their music skills.
