Community Arts Partnership

Project led by Monroe Arts Council

About the project.

The Community Arts Partnership program would provide varied art experiences brought directly to underserved members of the Monroe County community by providing individual and group instruction. Basic Appalachian art and painting would be provided at no cost to those who would not otherwise have access to cultural artistic expression. The program seeks to serve developmentally challenged, elderly, and economically disadvantaged members of the community.

FAO staff comments.

The Community Arts Partnership through the Monroe Arts Council would provide arts education and programming to community members at no cost. This program would create equitable access to the arts for all ages in Monroe County.
