EV Charging Stations

Project led by Cambridge Main Street

About the project.

Cambridge Main Street would like to install two electric car charging stations in downtown Cambridge.  These free charging stations will be located in parking lots adjacent to existing businesses.  People who need to charge their cars will be able to do so while visiting the fantastic, small shops, eateries and attractions in downtown Cambridge.

FAO staff comments.

As access to electric cars and transportation has grown, the City of Cambridge has realized the potential in attracting these types of visitors to downtown mainstreet by providing electric car charging stations. Individuals visiting town or passing through would be able to explore the town and visit local businesses while charging their cars.
