Each hygiene kit includes: a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, wash cloths, feminine hygiene products, lotion, lip care idems, deodorant, and other needed items.

FAO staff comments.

Programs like this one recgonize that many factors contribute to a child’s educational success. When students do not have their basic needs met, learning becomes difficult or impossible.

This program helps students meet their basic needs, and it also helps to set students up for success in the classroom. Ultimately, this program can support better health and educational outcomes to make a lasting difference for students and ultimately strengthen whole communities.
