Emergency Children’s Items

Project led by Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter

About the project.

This Cause Connector project will provide necessary items for children at the Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter.

Funds for this project will go towards a range of children’s necessities. Items that residents commonly need, such as diapers, wipes, formula, over-the-counter medicine, and milk, will be kept on site. Other supplies that a child may require in order to meet their basic needs, including clothing like shoes, socks, coats, and underwear, will be purchased by shelter staff using these funds.

FAO staff comments.

Children of all backgrounds deserve access to basic needs items and clean clothes. At the Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter, children and families experiencing homelessness can rest assured that their basic needs will be met through access to the emergency items the shelter keeps on hand.
